Hello world!

Hi Everyone!
I thought it would be fun to have the world follow me on my quest to become a service dog for a child with autism. My handler said I should write this blog so that you could get to know me and all of my friends and see the work we do.
Be sure to visit often to watch me grow and see the things I have to learn as I get older. You can also learn more about me and the program I work for at www.pawsassistancedogs.com
Furever,
Jazzy Belle

You are such a Sweet dog Jazzy, and you should be so proud of the work you are going to be doing as a service dog to help a child with Autism. I know how proud I am of you. Autism has become such a huge problem in our country. Maybe a movie star will see your blog and make you famous. Make sure your handler and new parent are aware of the Animal Assisted Interventions for Individuals with Autism book by Merope Pavlides. It’s highly readable for parents of children with autism, as well as your handler. Can’t wait until I see you next week, and hope you can meet my Therapy Dog Rosi one day.
Live, Love, and Licks on your new journey.
Hugs, Marcia

Thank you Jazzy Belle on behalf of the children, and on behalf of all dogs out there who are still looking for “what they want to do when the grow up”. I know that your training will take a lot of hard work and concentration but in the end you will be a great Hero or Heroess?
I would like to share your story and your journey with all the people I come in contact with everyday. May I do so? Perhaps by doing so you will encourage others to follow your career path.
I will assume that you are a “Lady” dog since you have a pretty name, but what kind of dog are you? Are you a little dog? Are you a BIG DOG? Are you a Rescue Dog? Would you please post your picture for me to share with my friends?
Would you tell us how and where you are going for your training?
So that I can refer others that may be interested in joining you in your footsteps where to start.
Lots of BIG HUGS and kissy rewards to your success! Vivian, Bruce, Nova, and DG

Hi, Vivian! Thank you for your kind words. I am not a BIG DOG yet, but my humans say I will be soon. I’ve got to get back to playing with the other “dogs”. I like to think I’m human too, but my handler says I don’t have “opposable thumbs”. You don’t know where I can get some of those, do you?
